"Black 'n' White Exhibition"
It doesn’t matter if you’re black or white… Join the “Black ‘n’ White Exhibition” at Space Womb, an art gallery located around the corner from the MoMa PS1 in Long Island City, NY.
We are currently looking for artists who would like to exhibit their monochromatic artwork in our gallery on April 22 - 30, 2010. Any theme or medium is welcome!
“Black ‘n’ White Exhibition”
Exhibition: April 22 (Thurs) ~ April 30 (Fri), 2010
Opening Reception: April 23 (Fri) 6pm - 8pm
Place: “Space Womb” 22-48 Jackson Ave. #1, Long Island City, NY 11101

Application Guideline:
Application Deadline: April 11 (Sun), 2010
Size / Medium: Up to 40”x 40”x 40”. Any medium including 3D work are welcome, as long as it’s monochrome.
Application Fee: Each artist can exhibit one work for $100 (Payment via Paypal). *This will go towards design and print fee of exhibition flyers and ads, wine and catered food for the opening reception, etc.
Price of the piece is up to the artist. (20% of all sales will be the gallery commission.)
Artists must drop off their work at the gallery during its open hours between April 12 (Mon) - April 19 (Mon). They must pick up their unsold piece from the gallery between April 30 (Fri) ~ May 5 (Wed). They can ship their work to the gallery, but the gallery will not be responsible for the return shipment. The gallery will not be responsible if your work does not arrive to the gallery by the above set date, and the application fee will not be refunded.
How to Apply: Please send a clear image of your artwork (300dpi) as well as your artist biography to BW.spacewomb@gmail.com. The gallery staff will review your work, and only artists who are chosen are able to participate in the exhibition.
