What do Erykah Badu, Michael Jackson, Lenny Kravitz, Crystal Waters and Ultra Naté have in common? They’ve all been produced or mixed by Teddy Douglas, Baltimore’s own DJ / Producer of the legendary Basement Boys Production Company. Basement Boys not only consistently make it on to the Billboard Dance Charts, they frequently dominate them. Teddy and his partner, Jay Steinhour, have managed to continuously feed the dance music scene for over 15 years. The team was responsible for dozens of hit records in the early 90’s, introduced Ultra Naté with four hit club singles, and Crystal Waters with her debut single “Gypsy Woman” that quickly went gold and had everyone around the globe chanting ,“La da dee La da da." With the Basement Boys Production Company, Teddy Douglas has also partnered with DJ Spen, Thommy Davis and Karizma to create many works that are considered house anthems. The Basement Boys have evolved into one of the most respected and acclaimed names in the world of dance music. Over the years, Teddy has witnessed an ever changing musical landscape but his goal to consistently create, release, and expose quality sounds has never changed, achieving both commercial success and underground credibility. Boogie Inc. & Mixed Signals Music are proud to celebrate the Deep End 1 Year Anniversary with the man who many call the, "Quincy Jones of House Music," - Teddy Douglas.

Boogie Inc. & Mixed Signals Music invite everyone to come and celebrate the Deep End 1 Year Anniversary @ Revival. A year ago, Pat Boogie and Andy Roberts launched the Deep End Series at Crosstown, a venue which is gone but will never be forgotten. Our vision for this series of events was, and still is, to showcase the world's finest house music talent in intimate settings. From the very first Deep End event which featured Alix Alvarez from NYC and Toronto's own Jason Palma and Andy Roberts, we knew we had started something special. The combined effort and passion from all the DJs, producers, singers, dancers, musicians, promoters and hosts at every Deep End event creates an infectious vibe that keeps people coming back for more. We started the Deep End series for the love of house music and we plan to continue spreading the love. Thanks for the good times Toronto...it's time to celebrate!
