I don't usually post to The Harmonet (it's just too scary for me ;-) ), but I wanted to let you
all know and I figured this would be the best way to let you know what's going on. So here
goes....
It is with a very heavy heart that I bring this news to you. Over the past several months,
some issues arose in our quartet that, though we tried, we were not able to work through
or resolve. Unfortunately, it became necessary for me to step aside as tenor of Old School.
I want to thank all of you for your support, my quartet mates for the opportunity and for
the ride. I only wish it could have been a lot longer.
I already miss my Schoolmates very much and wish each of them the best of luck.
テナーどうなるんだろうと思っていたOld Schoolですが、
元Gas House GangのKipp Bucknerを加えちゃうみたいですねー
Forwarded on behalf of Joe, Joe and Jack...
Old School would like to let everyone know that we are still alive and
well! Although we will not be able to compete in the Mid-Atlantic District
Prelims this weekend, we will be fulfilling our upcoming show committments
w/ 2-time International Champion Kipp Buckner, from Gas House
Gang/Interstate Rivals fame!!! We will make an official announcement of who
our new, full-time Tenor will be on Monday, March 16th! It is Old School's
hope, to compete at a later Spring Prelims contest w/ the goal of
qualifying for the International Convention & Contest this summer in
Anaheim, CA!.
We thank Rick Taylor for his 2 years of service & friendship and are
looking forward to what the future has in store for all us!
I regret to announce that Tenor Raymond Davis has chosen to step down from
the quartet effective immediately. Late Show will not be competing in
Anaheim this July, but will be fulfilling all of it's remaining future
performance obligations. The future of Late Show has not been determined,
but it seems probable that Mike, Jordan and Gabe will NOT pursue trying to
fill the big shoes that Raymond leaves behind.
