Below is the PSA sent to the Maui News regarding our protest rally this Friday. We need people out there and we need to make noise. I will be forwarding a letter from the NY Times regarding the furloughs. We need to take advantage of this while people are outraged. Please show your support by coming out there Friday. The only way this will change is if we stand together and fight this battle together--in large numbers. Let's represent our island and our children!! We can do this!!

SAVE OUR SCHOOLS,

Please join concerned parents and community members at another S.O.S. (Save Our Schools) Protest Rally against School Furloughs this Friday, November 6th. SOS is scheduled to meet from 4 to 5:30 pm across the street from the main entrance of COSTCO. Progress is being made, but parent's voices still need to be heard. Let our representatives know that furloughs are unacceptable. There are only 6 more House Reps needed to commit to a special session, let them know they need to stop furloughs now. No Furloughs, and no layoffs.
