分からへん！(日・英会話）コミュのmy pet peeves...

それはめっちゃ説明しにくいけれど、凄く役に立つの英語の表現です。

基本的に"Pet peeve"と言うのは癪に障ることです。でも、いらいらさせられることや腹の立つことや常に不平の種となることなどと言うニュアンスも時々あります。

でも、pet peeveは人のことではないし、自然のことでもない。Pet peeveは人の悪い癖や行為や状況などです。

例から分かるかもしれないので、私の本当のpet peeveを一覧します。

My pet peeves: （僕の嫌なこと・いらいらさせられること・癪に障ることなど）

1. People who talk to themselves (独り言を言うっている状態）。
2. People who smoke in non-smoking areas (禁煙の所でタバコを吸うっている状態）。
3. People who email while riding their bikes (自転車に乗りながらメールしてる奴っていう状態）。
4. Young people who do not stand for those who need seats on the train (電車にいる年寄りなどの人のために、若者が席を譲らないっている状態）。

などなど...

全ての上の例の頭に"People who..."と言うが、その人はpet peeveぎゃなくて、その人の癖やすることはpet peeveです。

例えば：

A: What are your pet peeves?
B: Oh, well, my biggest pet peeve is when people spit on the sidewalk. How about you?
A: I can't stand it when people drive through red lights!

A: 君の癪に障ることはなんですか（嫌なことなど）？
B: そうか、まあ、僕の一番嫌なことっていうと、歩道で人が唾を吐くことだ。あなたは？
A: 僕の耐えられないことは赤信号無視してることだ！

でもね、いつも腹の立つことではない。ちっちゃい嫌なこともpet peeveがあります。例えば、僕は女性と話しながらその子は口に髪が入ったら、ちょっと話に集中できない（僕はＡ型だ）。悪くないけれどね。

日本語は一つの決まり文句はないから、便利な言葉です。

1. People who not clean after their pets.
2. People who spit on the roads.
です。

私のper peeves は：
1. People who make use of someone with good will.
2. people who make up their faces in tarains and buses.
3. People who release thier dogs where it is prohibited.

･･･言い出すときりがなくなりそうだから(>_<)、ここまでです。

すごく分かりやすい説明ありがとうございます。

1. people who speaks clarely
2. people who drunk so much and behave badly

こんな感じで使えばいいのでしょうか？

のりちゃんさん：Those things drive me crazy too. People who don't clean up after their pets are disgusting!

vegaさん："make up"は動詞ではない。"make up"の動詞というのは、「仲直り」という意味です。化粧品の場合は"do one's make up"です。だから、"People who do their make up on the train"は良いです。でも、コメントありがとう。分かりやすい良かったです。

my per peeves are

people who disdains others
people who is saying bad things about others

今、『見下す』という表現を知りたくて辞書を引いたのですが、人をバカにする意味で見下したりする単語は　disdain でいいのでしょうか？　あと　「見下した言い方をする」になると、どう表現すればよいのでしょうか？
自分が一番エライと思って他人をバカにした（見下した）言い方する人が嫌いなのですが。

people who listen to music loudly on buses/trains.
people who talk with their mobiles in quiet public
places.

There are so many people do that in Germany-
I can't believe it..! Maybe its difference of sense of
manner??
