現在のTONY LIDDLEは、Liveでは往年のHR/HMのクラシック・ナンバーをカバーする活動を中心にしており、自身の曲を演奏する機会は少ない様です。
しかし、これらの幅広い曲目を歌える事こそ知って欲しいのです。
曲目からして、歌の巧いシンガー揃いですから、これらの曲をコナセル実力こそ、彼の凄い所であり、今もLive活動を精力的に行えるのです。

the gig was at Skellow Grange Club in Doncaster, this club likes only well know song's so Tony show consisted of rock classic and none of his own music. Tony's voice was on top form. On stage with Tony, was Graeme Mitchell on lead guitar, Graeme playing was top drawer too, only once getting his timing wrong, but that's the great thing about live music, on drums was Harry Hill I don't know where Harry gets his energy from, he just doesn't play drums he attacks them full on, he is one of the best drummers I've every seen, then on keyboards is Dave Atkinson', who quite a character, his Smoke on the Water solo, was excellent, and he's got a charming little dance routine, which Fred Astaire would be proud.

As you can see quiet a show. Its hard to describe Tony's vocals they are unique to him, his range is phenomenal, Aerosmiths 'I Don't Want to Miss a Thing' was sung with such intense passion, that the audience were applauding the song before he had finished it. Tony doesn't try to make the songs he has selected for his show sound like the original artist, He sings them in own style, which his audiences appreciate, I honestly think that when Journey was replacing their singer, they should have looked no further than Tony. No one sings Journey better. His show was fun too as he got a little banter going with the audience. The light show is nothing fancy but highly effective with 16 Par Cans, 8 cans are sequenced around the drummer and they use a smoke machine well too, it is very effective as the smoke filters through the lights. You have to give top marks for Tony's new sound engineer it was only his second show, he got the balance just right with Tony's incredible vocals. It was a great show, and was well appreciated by the audience. After the show Tony made time to chat to people that had come to listen to him and his band.
