nalysis On 27 March 1977, a bomb exploded in the terminal building of Las Palmas Airport (Canary Islands) , and for this reason the passenger terminal was evacuated. As there had been a threat of a second explosion, much of the traffic arriving at Las Palmas Airport was diverted to that of Los Rodeos on Tenerife Island. For this reason, the parking area at the latter airport was crowded with airplanes.

this article is airplanes accident. my aunt belonged Pan America airline as flight attendant. Unfortunately, she got accidentally. so I've never seen her because this accident was occurred before I was born. I really would like to meet her. but it's impossible, right? does anyone know this? if someone knows this thing, just let me know!

来年の春くらいに家族で行こうと計画中です。事故が起こった当時はテロか何かの影響でカナリア諸島に行けなかったらしく、うちの母は残念がっていましたので、連れて行こうと思います。誰かこの事について知ってる人がいたら教えてください。

i am so sorry to hear about the accident..
since it happed so long ago, it may be pretty hard to find someone who knows about it.
but, following web page has some info regard to this accident.. hopfully, this will help.

since, i work in aviation business. evrytime i hear these kind of accident, it makes me realize the importance of my job.

You may not believe this, but I can remember that sad day and what happened then.

I was a little boy in that time. It was a nice spring day and we were at the north of the island. My father- who worked for spanish TV then- had to attend the disaster. He suddenly received one call, and we had to go to Los Rodeos airport immediately. He had not got a chance to go back Santa Cruz to leave his family, so we had to go there with him.

We arrived there two hours after the crash. The weather condition there was foggy. Everything was confusing and everybody was shocked and panic. I was a boy so I could not realize what was going on there. I think no one could actually. That was too much for anyone.

Regretably, I guess that was the first day Tenerife island was well known worldwide. I am very sorry for that.

As for me, だいじょうぶ!. As you may guess I cannot have any trauma for that because kids recover quickly. Anyway I can feel a sad emotion that remains in the passing of time.

You know? You may be surprised to hear from one witness(?), but I am same surprised to hear from one relative. This is a very unexpected encounter to me, frankly.

TX for your imformations. I think I'll be OK! Now i'm saving money for traveling to Canary Islands.. I have been thinkin I am her reincarnation since I was lil.. Though that thought maybe ridiculous, I wanna be thinkin about this. that's why i have to make sure there. I really wanna appreciate y'all..

finally! this spring i will be canary islands with my parents & my old aunt! we are gonna transfer to British Air Ways at London! its much much cheaper than others, isn't it? but its supposed to arrive at Las Palmas Airport (Canary Islands). so does anyone knows how can i go to tenerife island then? is there any traffic? i just can't figure out!

I'm sorry to hear about your aunt (I didn't know such a tragedy happened in the island), but
I'm glad to hear that you'll be able to visit the canary islands soon.
Your family and your aunt will be happy as well.
I've traveled to Las Palmas from Gatwic airport, U.K. with BA a couple of years ago. Yes it was much much cheaper.
あとはマドリッドから、スペインのローカル機ってのも安かったです。
ラスパルマスからテネリフェまでは移動したことないけど、
小さなセスナか、船があったはずです。
私はラスパルマスからFuerteventulaまでセスナで移動しました。
（すいません。航空会社名は忘れましたけど、現地の友達が手配してくれました）
あと、ランザローテからモロッコまで船で移動したこともありますよ～☆　空港で聞けば多分分かります。（英語はあまり通じなかったけど）

hello!!yeah,I'm sorry to hear that news...anyway you'll go to Tenerife soon!!!wow!!!sounds great!!

about airport,you can go to Tenerife from Las Palmas by Iberia or Air Europa.

There's 2 airports in Tenerife(North and South).

North is bigger than South,but sometimes North airport is closed..(strong windy or heavy rain)

at last tomorrow i will leave from Narita Airport to Canary Islands by British Airways! i am extlemely exciting right now! but actually this time i am supposed to transfer at London and fly to Reina Sofia Airport in south part of Tenerife Island.. that's why i feel like sorry that i misstook telling y'all, i apologize & appreciate your imformations!
