If you are looking for 101 tips on how to get abs like Callista or an ass like Britney's - it's common knowledge that women's magazines are the place to go. YEN has changed that perception and paved the way for others to follow.
Before YEN, women's magazines refused to tackle any issues bigger than the size of his tackle, or how to look hot in a bikini. We irreverently explore the social, cultural and political issues that face women around the world and at home and promote + develop the work of women across every creative, sporting and business pursuit. And of course - YEN also has the hottest fashion and beauty trends around.
YEN magazine launched 5 years ago in Australia as a reaction to women's magazines that lacked both substance and style. YEN was originally unveiled as a 32-page mini magazine, free on the streets of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. Thanks to the support of an amazing collective of contributors and supporters hungry to get involved, YEN quickly evolved to it's current format and can be found in newsagents and specialty stockists all over Australia as well as many countries worldwide.
Now in addition to the magazine we're proud to have branched out into other specialty publications, events and cross-platform media initiatives such as Curvy and the Young Woman of the Year Awards as an additional way to support and celebrate young women dedicated to pushing boundaries.
We are also about to launch a brand new YEN website and are calling for contributors. The new site is a daily news site with contributors from over 20 countries - we'd love to hear from you if you'd like to be part of the action.
