Postdoctoral Research Scientist

Institute of Industrial Science

Institute of Industrial Science, the University of Tokyo has an immediate opening for a postdoctoral position. We are looking for enthusiastic candidates in the areas of bio- or micro- fluid dynamics. The work will require mathematical modeling and simulation for problems such as cardiovascular flow, micro-circulation, fluid-structure interaction, or cell engineering. The position is available immediately and is initially for one year, with additional years contingent on performance and continuation of funding.

Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D in Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline. The candidates should send curriculum vitae, a list of publications, a summary of research experiences, and arrange to have three letters of recommendation. Electronic applications will not be accepted.

最初に書いておけばよかったのですが、
日本語でも書いておきますね。

東京大学　生産技術研究所　でのポスドクです。
研究室は、大島まり研究室。
大島教授は、NHKのサイエンスゼロによく出演されてます。

今回の募集、キーワードは、
CFD、シミュレーション、生体流体力学、
心臓血管系、マイクロ流体、細胞工学、
などです。

シミュレーションプログラムが書ける人が欲しいです。

研究環境、待遇は悪くないと思います。
