Friday 12/22/06 8:00 - 10:00pm Wendy Waldman and Friends
以前「Save The Best For Last」のビデオのトピックでリンクしたKulak's Woodshedで、LA時間12/22の8:00pm〜10:00pmにウェンディが出演する模様です。 http://www.kulakswoodshed.com/
以下は、ウェンディのブログから I hope this finds everyone getting excited and ready for the holidays. Here at the Longhouse, we're still unpacking boxes, hanging pictures, figuring out where stuff goes and what needs attention house and studio-wise, and we're starting to mix the Artie Traum cd. Also, very much looking forward to a little time off with our families... This coming Friday night, Dec 22 is my last webcast of the year, with my friend Dan Navarro, and possibly some other pals as well, whose names, if they confirm, I will post immediately. Please tune in, and also, as you know, Kulaks greatly needs our support right now, especially in the letter writing department. The mayor's office in LA is getting LOTS of letters from all over about Kulaks, and the more they get, the better the chances are that Kulaks' troubles will be over for good. The addresses are posted at Kulakswoodshed.com, which is also where you can watch the webcast Friday 8pm-10pm PST, and you can email us during the show as well. Of course I'm looking forward to playing that lovely piano again, and may get the courage to fly some more of these songs from the Desert album. It's been downright cold here in LA, and of course all my friends in the midwest and back east are laughing at me when I say that--ok, we're not under six feet of snow, but I really DID have to crank up the heater in the pool.... Thank you all my friends for your support and kindness this year, and I hope to see everyone when I'm out on the road next year. With love WW
Eric Schwartz joins Dan Navarro and WW at Kulaks Dec 22!
Friends
The wicked, brilliant, and always unpredictable Eric Schwartz will be joining Dan and myself tomorrow night at Kulak's woodshed for the last webcast of the year. Eric hails from NYC but seems to have found himself of late spending a suspicious amount of time out here in LA, which is definitely our gain! If you've never seen him play, I can't prepare you except to say his is a remarkable mind, a lighting fast wit, and there's no one quite like him.
He's a wonderful artist, and we're very happy that he's joining us tomorrow night--www.kulakswoodshed.com 8-10 pm PST.
Very best wishes to everyone
WW
>LA Code Enforcement officers are now in the final stages of closing
Kulak’s Woodshed because the Zoning Administration claims we are in
violation of parking regulations despite overwhelming community support and well documented evidence proving that Kulak's Woodshed does not create a parking problem.
