Did you know? Did you know? Did you know the 95% of Americans are scientifically illiterate? Scientifically illiterate....it's true. now if you just believed me, there's the word for you...Gullible! that's right...You are Gullible. If you just believed me, and also acceptable to something else...called religion. ...religion. see, there're plenty of people like you, who are gullible, and who are unwilling to ask,... a series of questions.
One, who is this person? are there a reliable source? and more importantly, can i find the other sources that back that up that are also reliable.
Two, where do they get their deta? are they using the graph? which I saw recently on the commercial, there's the X-axes labeled it...Time? What does Time… mean? Time can be anything. Time can be…one second, ten years. And who do they do this study with? Was it…with one person? Or with 10 people? Or with 1000 people? Where do they get this? Do they take the first 10 people out of the baseball game? Or do they take the random sample from the whole population?
Three, I said that 95% of Americans are scientifically illiterate. What does that mean? Do they ask them one question? Do they ask them a series of questions? How hard with the questions? Do they say something simplisize… “Do you know what the periodic table of elements is?” Is that simple yes or no question? Or wasn’t it a extremely difficult question? …that only the scientists would know. These are the questions, you should ask yourself, any time you hear about fact. Still don’t think you’re gullible?
What about airborne? You see it in the shelf. Does this actually work? They say it’s “clinically tested,” or some very issue on that. (you …????.. that?) They can’t say that, if it’s not true. Oh, yes, they can. That’s not regulated. But don’t take my word for it. And you shouldn’t. You should check yourself. Ask questions. Because you can be gullible…for something silly as the little fact. You could be gullible like something a lot bigger…like religion. Check your facts. Please.
