ウイキペディアにわが町のことがこんなに出ている。
ちょっと太鼓持ち的な記事であるが、大きな間違いが一つある。それは二十三士公園のいわれで、「自殺した」となっているが、そうではなく、「処刑された」(executed)のである。

Tano is a town located in Aki District, Kochi, Japan. As of 2003, the town has an estimated population of 3,208 and a density of 489.02 persons per km². The total area is 6.56 km². It is a well provisioned place, being on the newly built Gomen-Nahari line and boasts a "3-F" convenience store, well-stocked supermarkets, a bank, station and several interesting sights. The local 23-park onsen is famous in the area; it was named after the park in which 23 samurai committed suicide. There is also a stop-over house from feudal times that the lord of Kōchi would use on his regular pilgrimages to the capital. Much of the house is still visible today. There are three schools in the town and two kindergartens as well as a variety of restaurants and local stores.
