Hey guys, maybe you can help me with something I've always been wondering. Let's assume that you are with your superior (boss, senpai, etc.) and you want to say "Let's go (wherever)." How would you go about saying this? Would you say 参りましょう? いらっしゃいましょう? or just 行きましょう? I assume it isn't 参りましょう as that would be insulting to your superior, right? Also, I don't think I've ever heard いらっしゃいましょう, and saying that would imply your a higher rank than you are right? Assuming 行きましょう is neutral I suppose it would be the best answer, but this is just my assumption. I would really appreciate a clear answer and an explanation if possible. Thank you in advance!
「それでは(じゃあ)行きましょうか?」になるんじゃないかしら?
「それでは参りましょうか?」は硬い感じがします。
This is only my opinion. But "he/she" is your boss or senpai,
you don't want to make a decision for them, you want to ask
his/her opinion. So we normally say this way.
