<Position>
Job title: Accounting Manager
Location: Tokyo
Reporting to: Head of Finance
Role: He/She starts up as Accounting Manager leading 5 team members, and will position him/herself as Head of Finance in the future, leading another 7members.
<Specific Responsibilities>
1. Budget planning and control
2. Monthly, quarterly and year-end account closing, to be submitted to the head office.
3. Reviewing and seeking improvements.
4. Accounting audit
5. Tax return and audit
<Qualifications & Experience>
1. Must be bilingual (Japanese / English languages with TOEIC 800 +). Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
2. Solid accounting and finance experience on a consolidated basis (5 years +).
3. Management experience, ideally of a department of 10 + people.
4. Experience of working in a multinational and in a matrix environment.
5. Highly motivated and works harmoniously with the team members, under pressure in a dynamic, fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
6. Strong analytical skills and ability to work with complicated financial models.
7. System project experience preferred.
8. Work experience in sports, fashion and/or apparel industries is a plus.
<Personal Characteristics>
1. Highly-moあtivated self-starter, keeping “can-do attitude” even under adverse circumstances.
2. Customer-oriented with providing higher value to the team, the company and the society.
