Queen's Universityコミュの[Alumni Event] Queen's Party in Osaka

Don't get excited! There is no party planned yet. But I am thinking of contacting the Alumni Centre at Queen's and forming an Alumni branch for the Kinki area. I am kind of sick of not being able to attend Queen's Alumni gatherings because they are always in Tokyo, so I think it would be beneficial to have some reunion gatherings in Osaka, Kobe, Kyoto, and perhaps other places.

Actually, to be honest, the person who was supposed to take over Queen's Alumni branch on Japan after Maynard Plant (my Queen's buddy and the lead singer of Monkey Majik!) didn't do anything at all, and now there are no alumni meetings in Japan, period (except the past alumni party in Tokyo).

Any suggestions? I contacted the Outback Grill in Shin-Sakurabashi, Umeda (Osaka), and they have plenty of space. Anyway, what do people think? Would you like to see an Alumni branch in Kansai? I don't have a lot of time, and there wouldn't be TOO many parties, but it would be nice to have a get together once in a while.

I'm a new alum, and would love to keep in touch with my Alma Mater in the years to come. I sincerely hope there will be more organized events in both the Kansai/Kanto areas. I wonder if the new guy at the branch does mixi? Cuz this is such an easy way to get in touch with people.
