May 17, Thursday, was a busy day for me
at Bunkyo/Chigasaki:
1) 15:00; Lecture by Chancellor Beran of University
of Arkansas- Fort Smith. (Picture attached.)
His speech was full of humor and attracted students
to ‘Study Abroad.’ For this purpose, of course, English
is a ‘must.’
His assistant, Mr. Takeo Suzuki, also was an
attractive person with sense of humor.
He may be one of the models that the student at
International Study would look for.
AR is know for ex-President Clinton and late-Senator
Fulbright.
Can you tell where AR is?
2) 19:00; Lecture by Ms. Mika Tsutsumi.
She duly pointed out the negative part of the United
States, which I myself agree through my experience.
