Hello. This is Mike Trinkle from the Class of 1998. I figure I should leave an English message here as well since its a board for an International school and all.
As I look back at St. Joe, I can remember a wonderful school where teachers looked after you not only on academics but also for your well being. I wonder how many schools like that are left now. I'll be getting married in a month and could only hope for a school like St. Joe for my children. (Just for clarification, I do not have children yet.)
St. Joe matriculated me as a young adult and provided me with unbelievably solid foundation for college life. I have the teachers, friends, and all the people I met there to thank for what I am.
I am currently residing in New York City, working for Mizuho Securities USA at the Equity Sales desk. My colleague is a St. Mary graduate and I used to work with a CAJ graduate as well. My boss also graduated from St. Mary. I just hope that one day, I meet a fellow St. Joe graduate. Let's face it. They won't understand why we used to sneak around Yamate Park smoking a cigarette or how awful those ginko trees smelled.
