at me, I can’t see, so cynically

So the enemy is within,
Ruining me from the dark, I close my eyes and its dwelling in me
I’m lost inside of me. My cells are falling apart

Realized, I close my eyes and I open back
It’s in sight, only for a moment but
clearly, shiningly, the only way that’s left for me
