Hello, everyone. I am really interested in issues regarding Islam and Muslims.
I know this is politically touchy subject but I would like to discuss it anyway.

Through readings books, watching news and YouTube videos regarding this topic,
I realized there are several issues worth discussing.

1. Why has Europe failed integrating its Muslim populations?

According to Douglas Murray's book, "The Strange Death of Europe",
Muslim populations in Europe are far from integrating into its society.
I wonder why that is.

2. Can we really separate radical Muslims from moderate ones?

In almost every time Islamic terror incident occurs people say that
those terrorists are just radical fringe. I used to believe that butnot any more because:
- Reportedly, the number of Muslim populations in the world are
about 1.6 billions, which means that even tiny bit of the radical fringe
could be huge numbers, for example, 0.1 percent of 1.6 billions is 1.6 million.
- According to Pew Research Center's report,
"The World’s Muslims: Religion, Politics and Society", even ordinary
Muslims in Muslim-majority countries have very different values regarding
human rights and freedom.

3. Why are Muslims in general harsh to ex-Muslims?

I know that apostasy is mortal sin in Islam and sentence for apostate,
quitting Islam in this case, is death but isn't it out of date?
We are living in the 21st century!
According to Ex-Muslims of North America, being disbeliever and coming it out
are still hard for apostates in Muslim society because they usually end up
abandoned by their family and shunned by their society. I wonder why.

Muslim Beliefs About Sharia | Pew Research Center
http://www.pewforum.org/2013/04/30/the-worlds-muslims-religion-politics-society-beliefs-about-sharia/

Generally speaking, Indonesian and Malaysian Muslims are regarded as moderate, compared with Muslims in Middle East but more than 70 percent of those Indonesian and Malaysian Muslims answered "I favor" to the question:
Favor or Oppose Making Sharia the Law of the Land?

Besides, more than half of those Muslims who answered in favor of the question above in Afghanistan, Egypt, Indonesia, Jordan, and Kyrgyzstan also answered "Yes, it should" to the question:
Should Sharia Apply to Both Muslims and Non-Muslims?

I don't think it is really moderate to impose a religious rule on those who do not believe in the religion.

For those Muslims who answered in favor of making Sharia the law of their land,

1) More than 80 percent of them in Afghanistan, Egypt, Palestine, and Pakistan was in favor of stoning as punishment for adultery, and even more than 60 percent of "moderate" Malaysian Muslim is in favor of it,

2) More than 80 percent of them in Egypt and Jordan, more than 70 percent of them in Afghanistan and Pakistan, and then more than 60 percent of them in Malaysia agreed death penalty for leaving Islam.

I don't believe that favoring of such cruel punishment for adultery and denying freedom of worship are not really moderate mindset.
Hello. I am not from Europe but I am from its offspring, America, which suffers from many of the same problems. Let me offer you my opinions on these matters.

1. Europe has not integrated its Muslim population because it cannot. Islamic people and cultures are too different from Western ones. They will not integrate into our culture, they will kill it.

The Paris streets in 2019:

There are "no go zones" in France which have been totally taken over by Muslims, to the extent that white people (especially women) who go there are often attacked:

When Notre Dame, one of France's most important cultural symbols, burned a couple of months ago, Muslims laughed and celebrated:

2. No. Maybe to an extent, but in my personal experience, not much. Every "casual Muslim" I have personally met turned out to be in favor of crazy things like polygamy and extreme misogyny. There are many ex-Muslim testimonials where they talk about how in private, Muslims will say that horrific events like 9/11 were justified. I would say that at best, any real casual Muslims are much more concerned with improving Western opinions of Islam than they are with protesting terrorism, FGM, child marriage, honor killings, etc. so they're ultimately useless.

3. Because Islam is a primitive, violent religion that is completely incompatible with the civilized world.

Thank you for your comment.

I don't believe that Muslims cannot inherently integrate into Western society. But Europe has accepted too many Muslim immigrants in a too short time period to integrate them. When European people realized that those Muslim immigrants have already lived by their own rules, it is too late.

Anyway, as long as Muslims believe that Qur'an is infallible words of God, interpret it literally, and practice it, it is impossible for them to integrate into Western society.

I have read this article. Sounds crazy. Those ladies who lived there for decades suddenly ended up being a persecuted minority in their own community.

Until you ask proper questions, you will never know what sort of value a Muslim really holds. The co-founder of Quilliam Foundation and ex-Islamist, Maaid Nawaz, know how to ask questions to reveal which value a questioned Muslim really chooses between Qur'an and human rights. Here's his video clip.

The caller in the video (Nadia) says that a husband beating his wife is wrong but she refuses condemning Qur'an's passage that justifies that a husband can beat his disobedient wife.

Under Sharia in the United Arab Emirates, not the rapist but the raped ends up arrested, prosecuted, and incarcerated if the rape victim reports the crime to the authority.

UK charity warns tourists in Dubai not to report rape after woman who was 'gang raped' arrested | The Independent
https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/asia/rape-victim-dubai-united-arab-emirates-uae-extra-marital-sex-report-detained-in-dubai-police-charity-a7422326.html

[Quote from the website news above]
A UK-based charity has warned that British tourists and expats in Dubai and across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) should not report incidents of rape after a woman who was allegedly gang raped was arrested and charged with “extramarital sex”.
---
Radha Stirling, founder of the charity, said that following the recent case – as well as a number of other shocking incidents in recent years where rape victims have been detained in the UAE – she advises British tourists not to report crime.
---
Ms Stirling added that she personally would not report a rape in the UAE, saying: “There’s so much manipulation when it comes to criminal accusations over there – I wouldn’t report a rape there if I were raped myself.”
[Unquote]

Here's how it works:
Qur'an requires four witnesses of unlawful sexual intercourse, which means that the rape victim is regarded by the UAE authority that she confesses her unlawful sexual intercourse by herself, if she claims to the authority that she was raped without producing the four witnesses.

Surah An-Nisa [4:15] - Al-Qur'an al-Kareem - القرآن الكريم
https://quran.com/4/15
[Quote from the website news above]
Those who commit unlawful sexual intercourse of your women - bring against them four [witnesses] from among you. And if they testify, confine the guilty women to houses until death takes them or Allah ordains for them [another] way.
[Unquote]

The 7th century revelation still violates dignity and human rights of those rape victims.
