It is fine weather in May recently, but it is rather cold. I may feel flat after successive holidays.
I have heard that Mrs. Tani will put up for the next election of the House of Councilors. Why will she put up? She is a famous judoist, but maybe she doesn't have knowledge of politics.
It is said that Mr.Ozawa who is an autocrat of Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), has been a fan of Mrs.Tani. It is also said that the problem of TOYOTA recall in the USA is involved, that is, Mr.Ozawa interceded with this problem.
Anyway many well-known persons will put up for the next election. I can understand that reason, but it is a popularity poll. Their job is to gather floating votes.
They are not politicians. I don't understand what DPJ wants to do. If DPJ can't get a majority in the House of Councilors, Japanese politics will stray again. Is now the period of confusion to the system of two big political parties?
I don't think it's a bad thing at all. I think the problem with many governments is that there are too many "professional politicians" who have never had a life outside of politics.
The very idea of democracy is that the people rule, and for that to happen the people need to stand for election.
This is a very good thing in my opinion. Aside from that maybe having a few budoka in parliament will help improve behavior.
