this community now only smells of politic and religious agonies. are you full yet?

well, i missed out my opportunity to get full on thanksgiving. i miss taking a nap after the feast.

Where do you get your turkey...?

I am thinking about roasting the damn bird this year on christmas eve for no practical reason. just trying to create an excuse to eat and share some laughs with friends while being drunk. i heard that nissin world delicatessen in azabu would be the right place to go for a turkey... but are there any other places in tokyo that should be considered to purchse it?

how about instant gravy, canned cranberry sauce or bread stuffing?
getting fresh cranberries is probably not ideal in japan. can i get em all at nissin as well?
maybe i should fix the cranberry jello instead. defo easier to get cranberry juice
In the states, I always use ground turkey in place of ground beef for things like burgers, spaghetti and meat sauce, tacos, etc. Compared to beef, it's cheaper, healthier, and (in my opinion) tastes better.
So it bugs me to no end that stores don't have turkey meat in Japan. Most of my Japanese friends have never even tried turkey before. A well-made turkey club sandwich with bacon is better than most hamburgers, and I think Japanese don't know what they are missing.

no, turkey burgers are evil. it's too delicious

Yes, I've got a nice oven just sitting here in this apartment...

Well... I'd like to know who would be willing to take a business risk and start a turkey farm in Japan... Could such a business succeed?
