The Mobile phone in japan and Globaly is seeing a big change, from just voice to rich media transmissons not forgetting all the new geeky functions. The question is Have you ever used your phone to do - browse the net -do shopping
That's nothing new for those of us smartphone users. I check e-mail, browse the Web, play games, visit my Facebook and MySpace profiles, and watch YouTube videos using my iPhone all the time. I occasionally do online shopping via mobile using Amazon Mobile, too.
but mobile use wasn't that thingy especially you are not on a right plan with heavy load of data or cheap traffic rates.
I checked the iphone plans page within softbank site and it's just not that sounding. Moreover my friend taking up his bachelor in nagoya claimed barely browsing web 'coz that would cram his monthly bundle money.
Softbank offers two-tiered pricing on their iPhone plans. You're charged minimum for data unti you pass the mimimum threshold. You are then charged according to the extra amount of data traffic you incur UNTIL you hit the maximum threshold, after which the rate remains flat. It is really a win-win situation for everyone. I wish AT&T had plans like that in the U.S.
