I know this is a minor issue but.... for some reason it just came to me and it`s spoiling the concept of the movie for me before I even see it. Someone I know downloaded it but I refused to watch it. I want to see it on the big screen :) Anyway what I was thinking was.... since Hancock is a superhero ( Like Superman) virtually indestructible, how can he shave ? wouldn`t his beard be indestructible as well? He is shown unshaven in one scene and in another he cleans up and is smooth shaven. What kind of razor can cut an indestructible beard ? :) I know... don`t look think that much about it :)

Thanks.. but I will like the movie regardless of the reviews. I just like off the wall crazy movies like that with will Smith in them. I liked the clips I have seen so far. I am no pro critic but I know what I like. That is really all that matters. But I am still waiting for someone to agree that the beard issue is a major flaw in the logic of the super hero character :)
I won't give it away but i am fairly certain that the movie shows how he get rid of the beard.

Ohhh Yeah!! the old shaving with the super fingernails trick. I should have known that.
But Alcohol ? yes thats right! If he can get drunk than he can be poisoned which would mean

The more interesting point is re. being poisoned. I think whats important is to look at how poisons effect our body. Acid would wreck your insides but probably not effect superman because his insides are stronger.
But booze effects us differently. Any experts want to explain why we get drunk and then try to explain super people getting hammered.

i've always wondered about that kind of stuff: beard, hair. nails... most of them are so well groomed. does gel work for their hair? do they need to bathe, or does bacteria fry up on skin? do condoms burst all the time? and who makes their costumes that are indestructible as they are? not E from the incredibles, they make it out that the super heros make it themselves! i make superhero costumes, it's super hard to make them fire resistant AND spandexy sexy.

Edna is your go to guy (girl) when it comes to super suit, in Marvel universe it's often Mr. Fantastic (Genius, Elastic man AND cloth designer!)

I saw Hancock last Sunday at Shinjuku Picadilly.
BTW about his nails ... they care hard enough and sharp enough to carve stuff in stone. When you can do that with yours, you can think about shaving :P
