Hi everyone. i come here often but i usually just read. anyways, as my title states, i will be visiting my gf in Tsurumi, yokohama for 15 days. this will be my second time in Japan.

she will be working for the good part of the day so what is available for me to see by myself. i don't mind getting lost and discovering new things. im pretty much a go lucky kind of guy so no real schedule so anything is cool. so any recommendations, let me know. for cool sites (camera time), food places (love food), historical site (history buff), or anything of the sort. maybe even meet up with folks and just chitchat (english preferably since im still working on my japanese skills).

oh yea, any cool clubs close by. im into dancing but don't know where to go. good club and relatively cheap drinks, and nice energetic people.

thanks.

Trains are good - easy enough to get anywhere around Tokyo or Yokohama from there. The sky is the limit.
i agree with ピーター. transportation system is well developed here. from tsurumi you can go to yokohama or kawasaki within half an hour, and tokyo maybe within an hour. depends on things you're up to; what kind of food, what type of historical stuff, there are various choices. you might need to be a little more specific about your interest...
sounds good. im an all around history buff so anything is cool. i was able to visit a few temples in kamakura and a few landmarks in tokyo last time i was there. food wise, i'll eat anything good. good old fashion home cooking is good..or anything along those lines. no burgers or kfc and related stuff. any good ramen places? noodles or anything spicy...though i know there aren't many spicy food in japanese cooking. nice places to see good skyline..things like that.

thanks for the input.
There is a ramen museum near the shin-Yokahama station, if I remember correctly.

I only spent a day at the Tsurimi area, but I do remember the eki-mae area (the area near the train station) to be filled with various stores and srestaurants. Should be decent options there.
ramen museum is a good choice. you can taste various types of ramen there. and i was going to recommend kamakura, but you've been there before so you might want to try some night clubs & bars this time. how about roppongi in tokyo? there are bars filled with foreigners as well as english speakers.
