Ok guys, Christmas is just around the corner so what is your take on the Christmas Season?
Where I come from it's a day to spend time with your family and enjoy the times with loved ones. But in away the Christmas Season does bring out the worst in us as well. Should be an interesting topic so whatever comes to mind works.... I guess?
For me it's just going home to my parents, have dinner with my family and maybe play some games :3 In Holland we have first Christmas day (25th) and second Christmas day (26th). Both are bank holidays, so people usually visit their own family on one day and their family in law the other day.
Xmas is always kind of a let down. You build up to it, listen to Xmas songs, feel good,
and then it`s over :( And you have to take down the lights. And before you know it it`s New Years, and back to reality and another year of "who knows what". Anyway, it`s not over yet so Deck the Halls with whatever you deck your halls with. I have no idea!
Sorry if its a depressing answer, but since I'm away from my family, and we don't really celebrate Christmas, I don't really make a habit of do what others do; exchanging present, dinner, etc.
As for me, Xmas only ONE day before the real holiday .... Boxing day! Gotta Buy, buy... buy... buy!
Oh ya, its a family time too assuming you have the inclination to do so...
