do you know what is Miami like?
if you know about Miami, please tell me your recommended places for sight-seeing, foods, shops, restaurants..... anything.

and... please talk about a trip. I am almost a beginner.

I might go to Miami..... My friend lives in Coral Gables.
I love beaches, but my trip will be in Dec....
So I dont think I will be able to swim... haha

I've been there like several times....but I like west palm beach rather than miami.
Miami beach is fun palce,,but too many people and every thing expensive around there..
you could be ripped off

I don't live in miami I live a bit north of there but I have friends there that live in miami....And everything is very expensive because of the tourist attraction. One place that is good to see is the Miami sea aquarium, but you have buy tickets only 30 dollars for adults.

You can see for yourself if you want see it....its kinda far...even further for me

really... people swim in Dec??? wow! maybe its like Okinawa...about the weather... tourists don't think that they can swim in Dec in Okinawa. Although it is not cold unlike mainland even in winter.
and Okinawan people say that you can swim if it's sunny. I dont know about Okinawa, too. because I have never been to Okinawa. haha
anyway, I will think about bringin my swimsuit then. hahaha
and I can walk around the beach at least. I love it.

stone crabs, fried bananas, Cuban coffee, frozen drinks.... You have tried all of them? and recommend them?

I want to try them of course!
and maybe i should try nude sunbathing.

I have not been to that place. when I was in Australia, I didn't go to such beaches.... I am curious a little bit. hahaha

Oh yes, famous place is always too busy....a lot of people are there. and all things are expensive..... I could expect about it because Miami is famous resort.

and I will be one of many tourists. haha

thanks I saw that website a little now. i like an aquarium. and I love dolphins! they seem to have an attraction with dolphins.

i will ask my friend if the aquarium is far..

it is expensive but it is worth going to...just don't buy the food there ha ha. Everyone who has been there has enjoyed there time. Although sea aquarium is very far....almost at the edge of florida

, but I don't get out much so I don't know much places. I'm a boring guy

I don't know much places even in Japan. haha I'm a boring girl? hehe
Ok, I will be careful not to buy the food at the aquarium. It is the same with the amusement park in Japan. Tokyo Disney land or USJ... it is really expensive..all food and drink in these amusement parks. But they don't allow to bring any food there. So you have to buy them there, if you feel thirsty or hungry.... miser! haha

I looked for the guide book of Miami in the book store. I thought that there were many books about Miami... because it is famous place. but..... in fact, there were really few.

Oh, one thing, I asked my friend if I should bring my swimsuit.... then answering was "no way! its too cold"

I don't know if you still need this info but I live in Orlando which is about 8 hours from Miami. I really do suggest that you bring a swim suit just in case because the weather here right now is very nice and warm. If it does get cold it'll be around the low 70s (Fahrenheit). But if you don't bring it you can always shop for a new one coz they'll have a lot of nice stores there!

oh, really??? my friend says its too cold in the water, though...
but also its good that i can see a new one there. i like shopping and its good to shop swim suit abroad.
when i am in japan, i never put bikini on. but when i went to hawaii, most people were in bikini at the beach... so, i bought bikini in hawaii. it was cute. :DDD
anyway, i am looking forward to my trip. i am realy busy at work right now.... so, i dont think i can prepare for the trip yet....
what should i bring there.... hmmmm

I hate Miami. Too hot, too muggy, and everyone speaks spanish.
