I like Avril Lavigne's new song, Girlfriend. it's really catchy.

I am wodering what it means on the sentence of Girlfriend by Avril LAvigne, which is " she is like so whatever".
On the Japanese translation, it says that she is not cool, or I don't care about her... But I actually don't get it.
My english level is so low.. not enough to know the meaning of it.
Can somebody explain the meaning of sentence for me? Thanks

Ah! I saw her PV in the gym (wouldn't watch it otherwise...) and think what 俺様 says is spot on.
The girl in the song is up to 略奪愛 isn't she…It's like she's slagging the other one off. You'll get it if you see the video (there're 2 girls over one boy) but I won't spoil it here.

I don't think the Explicit version is much worse than the "standard" version except for that one line... ;)

It may be easier to understand in this format:
"She's like so..." (something bad being unsaid)
"whatever" (it is not worth saying the bad thing)

俺様 said that what i was gonna say! the whole song's meaning is like, i know you love me, so we should be together and you should break up with your gf cos i dont like her.she is not worthy to be your gf.

dont be offended,i like this tune cos its very cheerful but i think this song is especially lyrically crap.
i know she can write great songs.like Im with you, Nobodys home, and i almost cried when i heard that Slipped away.so this new song(album) dissapointed me a little.
maybe she was too happy!lol

It's kind of a teen song about being somebody's girlfriend. It's not aiming very high so it doesn't generate any controversy.

She's sung this song on various TV shows, nobody has said anything.

It generated a lot more controversy when she mispronounced "David Bowie" a couple years ago at the grammy nominations :)

gosh it's hard to say with out saying whatever haha.

She's saying that, his girlfriend, is a nobody, no one cares about her, she's not cool. she's a waste of time.
