Hi everyone, I am happy to be a part of this group. I live in south west Japan (Matsuyama, in Ehime Prefecture), been here for almost 10 years and am studying the culture and customs as well as the history. If you want to know more about me, check out my profile.
Matyuyama is geographically close ro where I
am now. I live in Oita Prefecture, and have been
to Matsuyama a few times. I love Dogo Onsen,
That place is rebuilt and it's modern now, I hear.
Dogo Onsen is really the same as it has ever been. All the rooms are still origional. It is the oldest onsen in Japan. I think it is beautiful also, but I rarely go there. There are other onsens I like better in Matsuyama.
im from Ehime!!!
im glad to see you, cuz i've been felt homesick lately.
my hometown is Imabari(next to Matsuyama)
i gonna return home around 6th Jan, to join to SEIJINSIKI.
im looking forward to going home, and going bananas with my pals.
it'd be grate if i could see and talk with you someday somewhere :c)
Dogo Onsen has a Bochan room, but the name is Dogo Onsen. The roads are still narrow, but there has been much construction around that area. The Ginga in that area is still the same also. Dogo park has been going through some construction. The old clock is still one of the favorite spots on the hour, it still does its thing!! lol Foot baths are in many places too.
