Grammatics State Of Play
First things first, Mike is no longer part of the band. I suppose that corny muso industry phrases/excuses like 'musical differences' were invented for moments like this...for the spokesperson sat head-butting the keyboard trying to explain the said band member's sudden departure. Fact of the matter is, some people just can't get along like they should, too many cooks (or angry young men for that matter) spoil the broth etc, etc, et al, blah, blah...
Best of look with future endeavours, Mike.
Second things second. In conference with Dance To The Radio, we've decided to put our single back to the autumn. We'll decide what track is to be thrown out to the hyenas when the decision has to be made. The plus side of this is that we should have the new recordings (spoke of in the previous blog) up online within the next fortnight. We'll also be doing plenty more recording over the summer as well as working on new stuff and preparing for a full on sensory assault in the autumn after the pesky business of getting fucked at festivals and consolidating our new line-up is over with...
Anyway, we've still got a few gigs to deal with and we'd love you in attendance...keep checking the page for the new stuff...Peace and Fucking, Grammatique x
"The Manageress"の再録Verと新曲の"The Vague Archive"です。
元々は、Dance to the Radioからリリースする予定だったみたいですが、延期にしてマイスペでお披露目となったようです。
新曲は、これまでの物に比べたら少しポップな感じですね。

Hello all, we've finished off a couple of tracks that were destined for release on Dance To The Radio but due an agreed decision to postpone that release we've decided to share them with you now instead.
There is a re-recorded version of The Manageress and a new song that we've called The Vague Archive, my favourite of our songs so far. Please let us know what you think and we'll hopefully see you all soon.
Next gig is Battle Royale at the Brudenell Social Club with Kubichek! this coming saturday.
We are lucky enough to be releasing our debut single in the next few weeks on Leeds independent record label, Dance To The Radio. It is a one off, limited edition pressing of 500 hand numbered 7'' vinyl. This hopefully means that…
A. It will sell out rather quickly and
B. One day it will be worth more than it's original value of £2.99
As well as the vinyl, both tracks will be available to download from iTunes wherever you are on the planet.
The A-side will be 'Shadow Committee', set opener and live favourite for some time now. The B-side is a revamped version of Owen's oldie, 'Broken Wing'.
This release is the culmination of months and months of hard work and we're over the moon to be releasing two tracks and artwork that we're so proud of. Grammatics kudos go out to the Pravda boys - Matt and Andy, and '5th Grammatic' James Kenosha for helping us on the path toward sonic enlightenment! Kudos and thanks also go out to the ever wonderful George Coppock for his photographic help in realising the visual side of things...
The single is set for release on Monday 22nd October. We'll let you know as soon as possible where to pre-order it from and where it will be stocked.
We'll also put one of the tracks up on Myspace in the not too distant future so keep an eye out for that.
For now you can let the wonder of image take over and have a peek at the single sleeve...
those of you who missed the world-exclusive first play of 'Shadow Committee', our debut single, on Huw Stephens' show on Radio 1 just before Reading and Leeds can now hear it exclusively on our Myspace page!

Let us know what you think of the song in our comments!
'Shadow Committee' is released on October 22nd through Dance to the Radio and comes on a 500-limited release 7" - you can see the sleeve on our page right now.
The b-side 'Broken Wing' is a treat saved best for the vinyl - so make sure you pick one up in October!
Don't forget to check out our new tour dates too, including a week in October around the single, a performance at Manchester's In The City event and an appearance at Nastyfest too.
