まず、ダグ　ギラードが参加したすばらしいアーチストを紹介します。

テキサスのZest of yore　というバンドです。
他に類を見ない天才的才能ながら、なかなか日の目を浴びていません。
ダグはI'll　do the thinking でドラムとギターを担当してます。

下記は、このことにつきダグが書いたブログです。

The Zest Of Yore, a Denton/Austin TX-based band known for their own brand of complex pop, has released their new LP, "Quality Of Life", which I co-produced, with the band and ace engineer/producer Casey DiIorio.

These guys have amazing songs and I also played some guitar and even drums on one ( "I'll Do The Thinking")

Chief songwriter Stephen Pierce is uber-talented, as is the rest of the band, and I really hope they turn a lot of people on.

Robert Pollardのソロ、Mars Classroom、Lifeguards、ソロと今年もBobのリリースラッシュは続いていますが、Boston Spaceshipsの新作もリリースされます。
Dinosaur JrのJ. Mascis、WireのColin Newman、Dirt BombsのMick Collins、Phantom TollboothのDave Rick、Dream Syndicate～Minus 5のSteve Wynnといった豪華ゲスト陣が参加。26曲75分（LPは2枚組）という濃厚なヴォリュームの作品になっています。

ここからは宣伝になってしまいますが、7/13（水）にMoorworksから国内盤がリリースされます。
GbV関連作品では久々となる国内盤のリリースを記念して、CD+Tシャツのセットが販売されます。予約者限定の受注生産となります。
