Job Title: Application Developer Contractor
Job Description:
Finance department uses the Sales Commission System (SCS) to calculate the incentive bonuses for the various Japan Sales Reps. The system looks at various attributes and parameters to calculate the variable compensation (incentive bonus). The output of this system is sent to another team for final processing to ensure the proper compensation is paid out.
current team develops and supports the application and is planning to either enhance the current system or build an updated, more flexible version.
An application developer will perform the development tasks for the system enhancement.
Development and Deployment duration -Estimated at 3 to 4 months based on initial understanding of requirements and requested timeline.
+ System Design – Learn the fundamental design of the current system and evaluate enhancement requests.
+ System Development– Most likely using a Linux OS.
+Ongoing Operations - The technical management of the system will need to be handed over to Japan IT Operations. As such operational readiness documentation and training will need to be created as appropriate.
