The Spectacular Tenjin Matsuri is the most poplar summer event in Osaka and one of the three biggest festivals in Japan, held on 24th/ 25th July. 5000 of fireworks as dedication is the highlight of the festival. About 3000 people in gorgeous traditional festival costume take to the street, which is called “Rikutogya”, and at tenjin bridge, the participants board some 100 boats, which is called “Hunatogya”, are also great view.

Boat performance (Hunatogya) / Fireworks 7:00pm-9:00pm

Anyone who is interested in this Tenjin Matsuri is welcome.
Don't be shy and join us even though you don't speak Japanese at all.
Look for us and come to say hi.

Please find a written paper "Meetup" at the meeting place or one of the member has a "Hello kitty doll".

天神祭りの花火をみに行きましょう！
1000年以上続く日本三大祭りのひとつ天神祭。毎年約130万人が訪れる大イベントの最後を飾る天神祭奉納花火です。約100隻の大船団のかがり火と約5000発の花火が織り成す光景は幻想的！桜之宮公園周辺で登場する恒例の新作打ち上げ花火は見逃せないです。

時間：６:00pm　地下鉄　天満橋 4番出口　集合！（10分程度待ってます）
