This early 80s Danish band's material ran
from catchy hook laden punk to fast powerful
hardcore.On this retrospective you get
their 1981 "Ude Af Drift" 7",1982 split 7",
1983 "Dansende Drenge" 7",1983 demo,plus
live cuts from 1981 and a reunion show in
2002.Third release on gta to document the
fantastic early Danish punk/hardcore scene.

Starting at the very tail end of the 70s this
Danish street punk group is still very much active.
This early years collection contains their 1983 "Ha"
7" ep,1986 "Murmur" 7",1981 TZP cassette,1981 To Trid
Ned Studios cuts,1980 demo cuts,2 live 1979 tracks,plus
rehearsal tracks from 1979,1980,and 1982.This is
rough urgent shout along street punk with brisk
tempos and a thick unpolished guitar sound.

Part of the 80s diy anarcho scene this English band
released their "(I Didn't Wanna Be A)Soldier" 7"
on Radical Change Records in 1983 (the same label
that released all of the Disrupters vinyl soon
to be reissued as two cds on GTA).You will find
those 7" tracks on here as well as their 1982
"State Of Mind" demo,1983 "Teenage" demo,and
"3rd" demo from 1984.Solid and memorable UK punk.
GTA061 SADO-NATION "Future Past,Present,Tense" CD
Fercious yet tuneful early 80s female fronted punk
from Portland Oregon,this band was more than a mere
footnote in the early US hardcore scene.Included
here is their 1980 7" and previously
unreleased 1980 "Disruptive Pattern" LP session
with original vocalist Lisa,as well as the
1982 "We're Not Equal"LP,1999 and 2002 studio tracks,
and 1983 live cuts all with vocalist Mish Bondage.
A long time in the works,a quintesential collection
from the early days of American hardcore and a
group still going strong today.

SHATTERED FAITHについてはバンド自身が出したんだからもうええやん....という立場です。

GTA 062 PICTURE FRAME SEDUCTION "Stop The Bloody Slaughter" CD
This Welsh group started in 1978 with a more simple
punk approach but would eventually develop into a
more powerhouse unit stylistically akin to GBH.
This cd includes their 1985 "Hand Of The Rider" LP,
2 live tracks from 1985,3 song 7" from 1984,unreleased
1982 cut recorded for a never released comp,2 studio
outtake tracks from 1981,and early 4 song 1978/1979
demo.PFS are still at it today and have released an
excellent new cd recording on their own label titled
"Sex War" which GTA also stocks.
GTA 063 THE DARK "Scream Until We Die" DOUBLE CD
Fast and furious deathrock influenced hardcore from this
early 80s Cleveland Ohio band.Disc 1 of this monster double
disc set features their unreleased 1984 LP session,1983
"New Hope" LP comp tracks,March 1983 demo,and their cut
on the "Cleveland Confindential" compilation from 1981.
Disc 2 is includes a live show from the Electric Banana
in 1984 and numerous tracks from their 1982 appearance
playing live on WRUW Cleveland.Instead of the usual 16
page booklet GTA is known for this double disc package
contains a 24 page booklet.
GTA 064 STATE "Nixed Life" CD
A much talked about band by collectors of early US hardcore,
this Ann Arbor Michigan group played it fast and agressive.
Besides their much sought after Ron Asheton (Stooges) produced
"No Illusions" 7" from 1983,this cd includes their punishing
1983 demo,6 1982 rehearsal cuts,live show broadcast from 1983,
1985 studio outtake,1986 demo track,and 4 early proto punk style
cuts from 1980/81 with Ron Asheton on guitar.A vicious and snarling
piece of early US hardcore history.

This outspoken uncompromising early 80s UK
anarcho punk group were featured on the first
"Bullshit Detector" compilation released by
Crass Records. There was nothing polite about
the way they delivered their message,
becoming a well known quantity on the anarcho
gig scene. This complete retrospective disc
includes their 4 song "Black Death" 7" from
1982, 7 song 1980 demo ( from which their
"Bullshit Detector" track was taken), 4 song
second 1980 demo, 8 song 1985 demo, and live
cuts from a 1980 gig at Action Space. Comes
with a 16 page booklet featuring a full band
history, as well as photos, flyers, and lyrics.
MYDOLLS "A World Of Her Own" Double CD
56 tracks / 149 minutes
The early Texas punk scene produced some of
the most unique musical groups in the US.
These Houston art punkers were one of
the most original and could easily rival
any UK post punk band at the time. Consisting
of three women and one man, they combined their
driving rhythmic sounds with clever and insightful
socially aware lyrics infused with feminist
observations. This double disc collection
features their 1981 3 song 7” EP, 1982 2
song demo, 1982 "Imposter"/"Exorcism" 7”,
1983 “Speak Softly, But Carry A Big Stick” 12” EP,
3 song 1983 demo, 1983 track off the “Cottage Cheese
From The Lips Of Death” comp LP, 1 song 1984 demo,
previously unreleased 3 song 1985/1986 demo,
various live cuts from 1981, 1983, and 1984,
and an 11 track 1980 demo featuring previously
unreleased songs along with early versions of songs
that were later re recorded. 24 page

VICTIMS OF SOCIETY "The Act Becomes Real" CD
27 tracks / 60 + minutes
Powerful early 80s New York hardcore, combining
quick tempos with anthemic '77 hooks. Like many
of the early hardcore bands gigging around New
York their only vinyl output was one 7", which
became sought after by collectors around the globe.
Besides that instantly memorable 3 song 7", this
disc also includes tracks from two blazing sets
recorded through the soundboard at CBGB's from April
and May of 1983, along with a non hardcore more '77
inspired rehearsal demo from June of 1984. 16 page
booklet features a band history, photos, flyers,
and lyrics.
