一人目は前首相の小泉さん★
ありがとうございます！
I must say, that in all my years as PM, I never had a request such as yours. It humbles me that in my retirement people still think of me as a helpful and encouraging leader. Thank you.
As for your problem, I am not sure how I can help. However, it appears all you want is encouragement: in that case I can give you plenty!
Japan has only recently been open to the West and all of its cultures. Indeed, it's important for Japan to mantain its unique, distinct and wonderful culture, but of course there is room for other cultures.
I think a union representing black musicians is fine in theory, however a union is only as strong as its members. I am not aware of how many black musicians there are in Japan, but I can't imagine there is enough to form a strong and effective coalition. Perhaps by widening the scope of the union, for example making it a foreign musician union, there would still be benefits for black musicians of Japan, as well as many others.
The more members, the stronger the union.
The black musicians of Japan are very lucky to have an intelligent and helpful woman like yourself on their side.
I hope you find this response timely and satisfactory.
Best of luck,
Koizumi Junichiro
