Take bus 44 to Burrard St in Downtown. Get off right when your bus passes Georgia ST (You will see a big church on your right, and a Scotia Bank is a little bit further down).

There you will see a bus station for number 135: it's right in front of Scotia Bank.
Then, ask the driver that you are going to the corner of Hastings St & Holdom St in Burnaby. It would take about 30 minutes.

Get off from the bus right after Holdom Street.
Then, give a call I come to meet you; my place is just around the corner from the bus stop.

I'd like to correct one thing in my direction.
When you come to Burrard & Georgia St in Downtown Vancouver, the churh that you would see on your right is Christ Church.

Also, you can take bus #135 right in front of Parkade building (666 Burrard St), which is about 50 meter further down from the Christ Church.
