This promotional film from 1951 "Wanna Buy A Record," was created by Capitol Records but was never shown to the general public. It was intended to be shown to record distributors. The film features orchestra leader Billy May, and American voice actor and comedian Mel Blanc. Mel, who we all know, was the voice of "Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Tweety Bird, Sylvester the Cat, Yosemite Sam, Foghorn Leghorn, Marvin the Martian, Pepé Le Pew, Speedy Gonzales, Wile E. Coyote, the Tasmanian Devil" and many others. With that said, you can see the old Capitol Records studios, before they built the now famous tower at the intersection of Hollywood and Vine Streets.
