If the rapist can see it beforehand, it could possibly cause
additional violence towards the woman. But if not, I am all
for it.

Like Peter, my only concern would be that it may cause more harm to the woman if the device enrages the attacker. Hope it hurts enough so the rapist's only choice would be to run (or crawl?) to the hospital.

If it were to become available worldwide, do you think it would be used in a malicious way? ie: a crazy bitter psycho ex-girlfriend uses it on ex boyfriend as revenge

Sounds like a good idea to me. It says it works like a tampon, so I'm going to assume that it's not visible to a guy who's going to be too busy trying to rape the person. The fewer sick bastards with in tact dicks the better. I've always been more of a kick the guy in the junk or zap the guy half to death with a stun gun approach, but this'll probably end up working out better cause it would only require preparation on the part of the woman, but no real necessity to immediately react to the rape when the time comes.

sorry to be a cynical bastard but it's not gonna work re. vaginal health risk (thanks harefumam) and actual physical harm(thanx pete, though not ltiterally). but if the timing is right it sure as hell would give the small dick fucker something less to worry about. maybe it should be used in jporn.....?
