Senri International Schoolコミュの訃報：Jerry Heiman

OIA/OISの美術教諭を務めていたJerry Heiman先生(Mr Heiman)が
亡くなられました。
散歩中の心不全で、黒海のビーチに倒れていたそうな。
…なんとなく彼らしいやね。

以下、Julie Wagner (Mrs Heiman)からのメールを転載。

Dear Family and Friends,

It is never easy to write a letter like this but I want to get this
information out to you. This morning I received a phone call from
Romania that Jerry had passed away this weekend. He was found on
a beach, I believe at the Black Sea, after suffering a massive heart
attack. He had gone there for the weekend with Gigi and Nicole.
Sunday morning he said he wanted to go for a walk on the beach.
When he did not return after several hours, they went to look for
him.

The kids and I are adjusting to this news. We feel blessed that we
were able to see him only 3 weeks ago at Kimberly's defense. It was
a particularly good family time and now, in hindsight, we feel that
there was some closure that occurred then. We are grateful that
he was on a beach and trust that he had shells in his hand.

Know that the kids are all doing well at the moment. It is taking
time to sink in. As we see how we will honor his life, we will let you
know more.

7年の時にARTを教えてもらって、
「MIRO」の名前を心を込めて演説していた、
Mr.Heiman。
怖そうだったけど、面白くてやさしいMr.Heiman...

Loved your pottery class that I took it for 2 years.
