Production Supervisor – 9 positions
-Responsible for employee safety, compliance of environmental rules and regulations, product quality, on time delivery of those products and the continuous improvement of our production processes in the refinery. -Lead and manage the production staff to include hiring, training and developing staff to meet the needs of the business. -Lead and manage safety programs to ensure safe working conditions for all associates and compliance with all local, state and federal requirements. -Supervise production operations to ensure maximum equipment and personnel utilization. -Manage product quality to ensure customer requirements and specifications are attained. -Lead and manage safety programs to ensure compliance with all local, state and federal requirements. -Participate in Environmental, Safety and Health programs to include associate training. -Be an effective advocate of Cost Control by doing the following: Prevent injuries by encouraging employees to work safely, Reduce the amount of rework by promoting employee involvement in process improvement and adherence to process guidelines, Inspect production areas and writing work orders to repair leaks, Turn off lights in rooms that are not in use, turn off water hoses that may have been left on and encouraging others to do the same, Coordinate production personnel needs with Human Resources to maximize employee utilization; and -Perform other duties as assigned.
Must have an understanding of Manufacturing Technologies, Quality Control processes, safety and environmental programs and requirements, standard software applications, and a strong communication, math, analytical and interpersonal skills.
$35.24/hr, high school diploma, min. 12 months job experience. Temporary-Full-time. Duration 8 months from October 1, 2017 to May 31, 2018, Mon-Fri, 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in Lake Charles. Employer is Skanda Hei LLC, 1105 Heatherview Drive, Oak Park, CA 91377
