If you like festivals please join in at Hanazono Bonodori festival it's on the 29th of July from 5pm till 9pm, delicious foods and cheap beers.
it's worth your while :)
This year they will be many students from the Kyoto universities to join into the fun plus some foreigners too, therefore if your interested to find a language partner or boyfriend to girlfriend it a big chance to come to this event :D
It's less than five minutes walk from Hanazono JR Station.
