Konnichiwa, hajimemashite?
Kudasai sumimasen as I do not speak Japanese and thus I will converse in English or through means of a middleman (ie. Yuzo) here at mixi, and more importantly here at UP. I am not entirely sure what to say, and I also can't secretly peek at other messages to see what other people have written (im also not sure if I am posting this in the wrong place or not) but I guess a good start would be to introduce myself. My name is Derek Uittenbroek and I currently live in London. Horanda kara kimashita, although I have lived abroad most of my life in countries including the USA, the UK and most recent of all, Malaysia. I am currently a second year student at King's College and I'm majoring in Business Management. My biggest most interest would probably be travelling as it is something I have done my whole life and hope to continue doing throughout and after my studies - im always up for an adventure.

As for my family, they live in Amsterdam, The Netherlands although my parents go back and forth between Amsterdam and Penang, Malaysia. I have a brother who is studying at the University of Amsterdam and he is majoring in International Business and Economics.

I am a fairly open outgoing sociable person with diverse interests as far as activities and music are concerned! Hope to meet everyone soon! O.o
