* Purimfest February 18
Jewish Life & Temple Beth Ami celebrates the most festive of Jewish holidays on Sunday, February 18 when Six Flags Magic Mountain hosts the fourth annual Purimfest. The Festival of Purim commemorates a major victory over oppression and is celebrated throughout the world with carnivals, entertainment, face painters, costumes, masks and special food. Purimfest, “The World’s Largest Purim Carnival,” is a unique opportunity to expand connections to the Jewish community. Kosher food vendors will provide food especially for the day. Arts and crafts for children, face painters and youth choirs will round out the festivities. Park hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on February 18 and all activities are free with park admission.

* California Cheerleading Championships February 24 - February 25
Catch The Spirit at the 28th Annual Six Flags Magic Mountain California Cheerleading Championships! Varsity, Jr. Varsity and Jr. High squads will participate in one of the premier cheerleading competitions in the country. The High School (Varsity & Jr. Varsity) competition will take place on Saturday, February 24 and the Junior High School Competition will take place on Sunday, February 25. Competitions will be held in Golden Bear Theatre.
