日本に帰国してからだいぶ時間が経ちました。
皆さんホストファミリーとは連絡等取っていますか？
実は、先日クリスマスだったのでメールを送ったら気になる返事が返ってきたのでトピ立てしました。
メールを１部コピペしますね。
On the 14th of December the Seattle area was hit with a great storm. The wind gusts were measured at 160km/hr, very much like your typhoons. Our electricity was restored four days ago and our internet service was restored two days ago. I have attached a picture of the damage on the road between our house and the city.
Needless to say, our Christmas is very different this year. We will spend most of the day with our daughter and her husband.
Other than several days of being cold and in the dark, we are well. Ilene has had a change in jobs, she is now working in a bank.
