アメリカ(in 2004)では
38% moderate
37% conservative
25% liberal

1980-1988, 1994-2004順位は上記と変わらず、
2000年からconservativeやや上昇傾向。
moderateとliberalは平坦。

【矛盾】
アメリカでは、1980年よりずっとconservativeがややliberalより人気が高いが、
gov't service + civil rights 共に上昇傾向にあり、
social conductは less restrictive にある（liberalの兆候）。

【原因】
人はすべてideology通り従って考えるわけではない。
例えば、taxが上がるとなると反対する傾向がある。
