義援金集めのベイクセールします。

突然ですが、明日のフォートワース日本人会の運動会（3月14日の2時から4時半まで）の間に、お菓子を持ってきて下さる方大募集！

火曜日の午前中に私の会社で売ります。

フォートワース日本人会でも、義援金を募っています。

The disasterous earthquake and tsunami in Japan has deeply affected many of us, and some of you have asked if we, as a society, can do something to help. So that we can manage this effort properly, we are asking members who wish to donate through the society to send a check made to the Fort Wort Japanese Society with a notation along the bottom: Japan relief fund. Mail the check to:

I will send a receipt back to you for the donation. I am contacting the Consulate General's office in Houston to find out whether they can forward the total amount, or they have already designated an organization to which I should send the funds.

Many of you are members of our society activities such as the Language School, Classic Dance, Taiko Drummers, Kurumi Ningyo and Chorus. Please pass along this information to the members.

Each time such a disaster strikes, many organizations step up to collect relief donations, so if you prefer to donate through groups such as the American Red Cross and the Salvation Army, please do so.

I'm sure our few dollars will help, but more importantly, our prayers, best wishes and hopes will surely go even further.
