The FOOTPRINT Initiative - Determining your Personal Impact on the Environment
The Ministry of Life and the Austrian Broadcasting Company (ORF) have set up an online Ecological Footprint Calculator for Austria, which can be used by anyone who wishes to find out how much his/her lifestyle uses ecological resources. The online calculator shows a person's ecological footprint in terms of housing, mobility, food and consumption. At the same time, the system offers hands-on recommendations on how to optimise the results. The project was implemented with the scientific support of the Faculty for Interdisciplinary Research and Continuing Education of the University of Klagenfurt
