Last night there was England's football match against Sweden.
In the pub I work, a big screen was set up so that every member can get together and watch it.
Even about an half hour before the match, the room started to be fulled of like 50 odd people.
Many of them wore red England's uniforms, one guy even wore England's flag like a cloak.
Before the game, when the national anthem was played on the ground everybody was singing along.
I could have this "I'm really in England" sort of feeling.
Although, it was 2-2 draw, everybody seems to have enjoyed last night.
For me, just watching their applauding and cheering was pleasant enough.
Even though my whole body was soaked with sweat and I was hungry as well as tired (I had to work for 4 and a half hour straight through without a break), it was a great night.
I feel so privileged to be able to take part in England match watching.
-By the way, people! somebody joins me in this writing English diary!... So far, nobody's written (save me)-
Hello, Chii~
You don't need to apologize.
Cause I can understand exactly what you're saying.
For me as well, writing is harder than reading,
for the same reason, speaking is more difficult than listening.
It might be because "writing" & "speaking" are a creative activities in that both of them are the process of making a sentence.
Have you seen the movie <The Godfather>?
There's this line "Difficult, Not Impossible"
That's what I always remind myself of when learning English.
