もしも、ノーベル賞が、素晴らしい価値をもった文学作品に与えられるものだとしたら、
ボブディランが受賞するのは、大いに疑問です。

あまり悪く言いたくありませんが、日記でウソは書けません。
ボブ＝ディランも、文学を作りたかったのではないでしょうから、まあ、いいでしょう。
ハッキリ言って。
このような詩は、大学生の作る同人誌などにあふれています。
ボブ＝ディランは、
大変語弊がありますが、
民衆歌謡、流行歌謡
の人です。
平易な言葉で、誰もが口ずさめる歌を書きました。
平凡であるからこそ、誰にも感銘を与えるということでしょう。しかしそれこそが、良い歌ということだと思います。

言い換えれば、
この歌詞の価値は、
詠われた文脈と、社会的な影響です。

「富士の高嶺」と誰かが言ったとして、その言葉の美しさは、実在の富士山とは無関係であるように、言葉の美しさとは、異なるということです。

歌詞の独立した価値を最初から目指していません。

審査員の見識を疑うべき授賞です。

ボブ＝ディランが最も影響力を持っていた時代はリアルでは知りませんが、
公民権運動などへの影響力が評価され、彼自身もそれを誇りに思うなら、

授賞を拒否したり無視したりする方が、彼にとっての勲章になり、

また、ボブ＝ディランらしいと言えるのではないでしょうか。

賞を受ける、
それも、極めて政治的な賞を受けるのは、
一揆の首謀者が、藩に苗字帯刀を許されて喜ぶようなものです。
