I am from Sendai, where one of the areas affected most by the devastating earthquake and tsunami last week. And my sister and her family live in Shizuoka, where another big earthquake hit on Tuesday. I just keep praying for my family, relatives and friends.
I have been given this opportunity to substitute David France's class on March 19 (Sat.) from 10:00 - 11:30 at Jiyugaoka Yoga Studio. Therefore, I would like to dedicate this class to support the victims of the earthquakes. Jiyugaoka Yoga Studio will donate part of proceeds to help them.
Are you blissed out and happy after helping people? If so, would you like to learn how to stay that way for a long time by practicing yoga? Then please join me! In my Tibetan Heart Yoga class, where we practice poses to use the outside (body) and meditate to use the inside (mind) at the same time.
The ancient art of yoga went to Tibet from India over 1,000 years ago. Tibetan Heart Yoga belongs to the tradition of Dalai Lamas. We will meditate during the class to make your heart and body healthy and strong and that helps to open your heart to love others. I teach in English and Japanese.
