My name is Christian and I’m a good Canadian boy who works as marketing, PR and networking manager in Tokyo for Japan’s largest bilingual recruitment firm. We work positions for all ages and levels, and it’s my special pleasure to invite all Japanese who have studied abroad to join our University Unity network! We’re all from different schools, yet we have such major things in common: overseas study, travel and business.
In our years of experience, we’ve recognized that many Japanese who study abroad have a difficult time when they initially come back to Japan. By creating this network, we hope to make the transition a lot easier. I’ve noticed that many people on Mixi have great school pride, especially when they study abroad. We want everybody to share this pride. Of course, the members will make this a fantastic place, and we will happily provide career counseling information to those looking for international-company work in Tokyo. Finding a great job seems to be a very stressful point for bilingual, bicultural Japanese, and we can help.
In fact, some of you may have met me in person when I was at the Boston Career Forum in 2007; if you remember me, please say Hi!
Remember to join the “University Unity” community, and feel free to contact me at any time. If everybody joins, we can make one of the biggest, most culturally interesting communities in Mixi! Please tell your friends, if they have studied overseas, to join as well.
There are over 75,000 Japanese students studying overseas now, let’s create the most comprehensive community ever!
